Public Records Requests


Requests for records may include the following data: Audio recordings of 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency phone calls to and from WCCCA, radio traffic of recorded channels for police and fire dispatch, mobile data terminal (MDT) messages, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) printouts of incidents, and premise history printouts for house and street addresses.

Public Records Request Instructions

*** Payments can be made online through NextRequest or we can accept a check or money order payable to WCCCA.

  1. Select the desired form from the list of printable forms above and either :
    • Fill out online and save or print the completed form OR
    • Print the blank form and fill out by hand.

  2. When filling out the request form, make sure to include the date, your name and contact information, the type of information your are requesting and the incident information to the best of your knowledge.

  3. Mail completed form to 5900 NE Pinefarm Ct., Hillsboro, OR 97124 with a check or money order for the total fee.  Requests will NOT be processed until the check or money order is received.

If the information you are requesting includes Protected Health Information (PHI), you will need to submit a signed Medical Release Form.  Please call the Records Specialist if you have questions about this process.  You may be required to come in person to show government issued identification.

Processing times can vary greatly depending on the type of information requested and whether or not the incident is part of an active investigation.  Active Investigations will only be released with authorization from the District Attorney's office or upon order of a subpoena.   There are no guarantees on processing times, so please plan accordingly.

Delivery - We provide two formatting options for information that we release; delivery depends on the type of format requested.


We are only able to provide information related to calls answered, handled and/or dispatched by WCCCA (Washington County 9-1-1).  This includes recordings of phone calls, radio traffic, and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) information and reports.  Other information related to an incident such as police reports or fire investigation reports must be solicited from the responsible police, fire or medical agencies.
